SLM and SLG rotary actuators are now available with Class I, Division 2 Certification, meeting requirements for use in hazardous environments.

Features & benefits

  • Includes brushless servomotor and gearmotor technology for high torque-to-size ratio (as in standard models)

  • Class I, Division 2 option for motion control where flammable gases or vapors may be present

  • Suited for quarter-turn or multiturn valves or shaft-drive dampers; directly coupled shaft-to-shaft to eliminate cumbersome pneumatic mechanisms

  • High load bearing; integrated armature and sungear for SLG models; terminal box with NPT ports

  • SLM: Multiple frame sizes, to 4,000 rpm; SLG Series: 90 and 115-mm frame sizes, and one, two, or three-stack lengths with single and double reductions
