Wireless modems

The Rad-Data Series is an interoperable line of DIN-rail mount, license-free ISM-band frequency-hopping radios.

Class I, Div 2 approved and said to be easy-to-use, these radios perform across wide temperature ranges and accept a broad range of dc power voltages. Each Rad-Data transceiver is a master, slave and store-and-forward repeater/slave all in one. While supporting transparent data communications as well as Modbus and Allen-Bradley DF1 packet communications, the radios self-heal (reroute) in repeater networks. Remote diagnostics is a standard feature.

The strength of these data radios lies in their ability to withstand ISM band interference while ensuring the integrity of the data packet. This is takes place via interference-tolerant, frequency hopping technology (Omnex Trusted Wireless platform).
