I have the rare honor of approving and disapproving comments to articles and items on the Machine Design website. In doing so, I come across an unimaginably large number of comments, more like demands really, from students doing reports or just looking for free stuff.

They go something like this:

-Send me link to get a copy of this free software.

-I'm doing a project on motors. Send me all the info you have on motors.

-Will this work on my computer?

Needless to say, I delete their comments.

Should I be doing something else?
