Ultrasonic sensor is chemically resistant

Dec. 8, 2005
Chemically resistant models of UGAGE QT50U and T30U ultrasonic sensors incorporate a Teflon flange and film coating bonded over the sensor transducers.

The Teflon cover seals against gases and vapors that would destroy standard models. Sensing range of the QT50U is 200 mm to 8 m, while the T30U senses from 300 mm to 1.5 m. Both models feature 10 to 30-Vdc operation and incorporate analog and discrete outputs along with IP67 and NEMA-6P ratings. The QT50U includes an electromechanical relay output.
