The Direct Part Mark Verifier targets DoD contractors and aerospace-industry suppliers that must meet new government requirements for unique identification of parts (UID).
The verifier ensures 2D machine-readable information complies with MIL STD 130 L Change 1 criteria for mark quality, and that data is correctly encoded in the mark. The system includes verification software that records the overall score and quality metrics for each mark verified and then time and datestamps verifications and stores bitmaps of each image.
