Toughened two-component epoxy - Master Bond Inc.

Feb. 21, 2011
The epoxy cures at room temperature and bonds a range of materials.

Supreme 33 toughened two-component epoxy bonds metals, glass, ceramics, wood, vulcanized rubbers, and many plastics. It withstands temperatures from -80 to 425°F, thermal cycling, thermal shock, impact, and chemicals including water, oil, and many organic solvents. It has shear strength over 2,500 psi, tensile-shear strength over 7,500 psi, and T-peel strength over 15 pli. It has volume resistivity of 1014 ohm-cm, dielectric strength over 400 volts/mil, and a dielectric constant of 3.8 at 75°F.
Supreme 33 mixes at 100:70 by weight or 1:1 by volume and cures at room temperature in 48 to 72 hr. An overnight room-temperature cure with a 2 -3 hr postcure at 150 to 200°F fully develops mechanical properties. The epoxy is 100% reactive and doesn't contain solvents or diluents. It also comes in a non-drip version called Supreme 33ND.
