Superalloy Fasteners

July 13, 2006
Aerex 350 superalloy fasteners target applications in jet engines, powergeneration equipment, aircraft landing gear, and airframes.

Fasteners made of Aerex 350 offer high-strength, corrosion resistance, and work in applications up to 1,350°F.

The material is said to have the highest resistance to creep and stress rupture of any current fastener alloy. High-notch toughness and thermal stability lets it be forged into a wide range of fastener configurations.
