Cannon Grommet D rectangular connectors for use in extreme (–65 to 150°C) environments withstand high voltages, with average flashover ratings of 1,000 V (from sea level to 20,000 ft) and 500 (50,000 to 70,000 ft).

Cannon Grommet D rectangular connectors for use in extreme (65 to 150°C) environments withstand high voltages, with average flashover ratings of 1,000 V (from sea level to 20,000 ft) and 500 (50,000 to 70,000 ft). The contacts have a maximum current-carrying capability of 5 A. Fluorosilicone grommets seal wire leads entering the rear of the connector while another seal provides leak-free mating between the plug and receptacle. Optional stainless-steel shells resist corrosion. The connectors have densities from 9 to 50 pins with high-density versions from 15 to 78 pins and are available with preloaded, nonremovable contacts for board termination.
