October isn't just for Halloween and homecoming. It's also time to celebrate World Standards Day, held each year on Oct. 14 to pay tribute to experts worldwide who collaborate within IEC, ISO, and ITU to develop voluntary International Standards. This year's 40th anniversary celebration centers on tackling climate change through standards.
