Soft-Gripping Polyamide Elastomer

June 22, 2006
Ubesta XPA, a highly hydrolysis-resistant, low-temperature elastomer, features a hard polyamide 12 segment and a soft polyether segment.

The flexible elastomer sports good transparency, injection-molding knit-line performance, and flexural fatigue resistance. When overmolded, it produces soft, sure grips on handheld devices that must withstand chemicals, heat, and impacts. The elastomer's high flexural fatigue, wear resistance, and good transparency lets it serve in soccer shoes and other sporting gear.
