Small Sensors Feel Big Heat

Micro IRt/c noncontact temperature sensors are 1-in. long and 0.25 in. in diameter.

The self-powered units have outputs that match K-type thermocouples. Standard IRt/c models have a 2:1 field of view, IRt/c.4 feature a 4:1 field of view, and IRt/c.4SV have a 4:1 field of view and a sideview mount with built-in air purge. A microsized air purge is available for temperatures to 175°C and an air-purge jacket 3-in. long and 3/8 in. in diameter.
