Two new hyperspectral spectrometers feature increased spectral range with minimal drop in resolution.

The unit's enclosed gratings do not rotate and are factory set for a specific wavelength range. The 350 to 1,050-nm VIS-NIR Model uses a 5-W tungsten source. The 200 to 720-nm UV-VIS Model uses a 5-W Deuterium/3-W tungsten combo. A 20-mm cuvette holder permits measurement of transmission, absorption, or fluorescence, and has three SMA905 connectors to input and detect light. The spectrometers come with software and a USB cable.
