Push-On Fittings

March 9, 2006
Newloc push-to-connect fittings connect with rigid and semirigid tubing such as nylon, polyethylene, and polypropylene.

The fittings provide quick, leak-free connections with no flow restrictions. They install by pushing the end of the tube into the fitting and can be disconnected and reused. Styles include Ys, Ts, reducers, elbows, swivels, and straight connectors. Acetal versions are available in sizes from 0.125 to 0.5 in. and 4 to 12 mm. They offer working pressures to 230 psi and handle full vacuum (29.9-in. Hg). Temperature range is 4 to 158°F. Brass fittings handle higher pressure and temperatures, and full vacuum, in sizes from 0.125 to 0.5 in. Uses include pneumatic systems and liquid-transfer applications such as food and beverage, chemical, and potable water.
