The PV8 Series antivandal switch features a metal body and actuator with a 25-mm-diameter panel cutout. Available with or without illumination, the illuminated version includes the choice of a dot or a ring-lens style. Specifications of the switch include 50,000 cycles (mininum) electrical life, 1 million cycle (mininum) mechanical life, 2 A @ 48-Vdc contact rating, 50-mΩ (initial maximum) at 1-A, 12-Vdc contact resistance, 1,000-MΩ (minimum @ 500 Vdc), 2,000 Vac dielectric strength for 1 min, operates at –20 to 70°C, IP65 ingress protection; and function – 1P2T, 2P2T, momentary, and illuminated.
