Pneumatic Mini Slides

Nov. 4, 2004
New ZSC slides feature a guided twin-rod pneumatic cylinder and ball-rail system, and are designed for vertical applications.

Ball rails between the piston rods result in a flat, low-mount guide with a 35% lower profile than conventional double-rod slide units. A symmetric design with high parallelism between the rail system and piston rods ensures precision, reportedly making it ideal for three-axis applications. The double-acting slide has multiple mounting options on the front and top plate of the cylinder. Grippers, vacuum cups, sensors, shock absorbers, and stops for stroke adjustment add to the unit's design flexibility. ZSC slides are available in bore sizes from 6 to 25 mm and strokes to 100 mm
