The OS4000 Series industrial high-speed fiber-optic infrared transmitter measures temperatures from 200 to 1,600°C using three optical fields of view and three fiber-optic cable lengths.

The OS4000 Series industrial high-speed fiber-optic infrared transmitter measures temperatures from 200 to 1,600°C using three optical fields of view and three fiber-optic cable lengths. Response time is 1 msec with adjustable emissivity from 0.05 to 0.99. Features include built-in laser sighting for lens probe positioning, linear analog output (1 mV/°, 0/5 Vdc, 0/10 Vdc, or 4 to 20 mA), high and low alarm outputs, fiber-optic gain adjust, maximum and minimum temperature measurement, RS-232 interface, and a Windowsbased PC interface software. Optional accessories include water-cool jacket, vacuum bushing, air purge collar, and a mounting bracket for the fiber-optic lens probe. Optional two relays with contact closure outputs and custom optical field of views and temperature ranges are available.
