New Product: Load/force sensor with USB output

Jan. 24, 2008
iLoad Pro Series digital load/force sensors measure from 10 to 25,000 lb of compressive and tensile loads at accuracies up to 0.05% of full scale.

Output signals can be sent as digital USB or analog 0 to 5 Vdc without additional conditioning. They have a female threaded mount for easy attachment and better cable strain relief. The sensors appear as virtual COM ports on PCs, letting users read data with ASCII commands on any terminal emulator such as HyperTerminal. Users can also write Windows applications with the open command set that comes with load sensors. LoadVue software handles communication and displays loads in pounds, kilograms, or Newtons. Users can get calibrated load information without any additional computation, conversion, or calibration. The software also lets users log data and edit it using programs such as Microsoft Excel.
