Modular hinge
Precision Modular Hinges from MSCI, Allentown, Pa. (www.mscicorp.com), make it simple for designers and manufacturers to include all types of hinges in the products they build and design without increasing machining time or part counts. These modular components can be arranged into a host of hinges, including, clevis, link joint, fulcrum, and pivot joints. They are made of an antigalling stainless steel that resists wear and corrosion and needs no lubrication. Hinges can be mounted in a ball groove to increase load support and stiffness or in V-grooves for better accuracy and repeatability. Standard sizes range from 0.125 to 1.00 in. outer diameters.
