For portable instruments that need to pump anything from water to corrosive slurries and acids, KNF Neuberger Inc.,Trenton, N.J. (knf.com), designed a miniature diaphragm pump that is light, compact, and immune to EMI and RFI. Diaphragm pumps have no tubes to fail and deliver reliable, consistent performance. It uses a dcbrushless motor and corrosionresistant PVDF, FFPM, and PTFE materials that withstand acids, caustics, and other harsh fluids. The pump is self-priming and will run dry indefinitely. Flow rates range from 0.05 to 3 lpm. Water suction is rated at 10 ft or 85-psig head pressure.
