It is compatible with most greases (except silicone) and won't cake. EPX is mechanically stable and resists water washout. It is said to be the grease of choice for some Tour de France bicycle mechanics and comes in 14-oz tubes, 35-lb pails, 120-lb kegs, and 400-lb drums.
