Linear Rotary Bearings

Solid linear rotary bearings, designed to thrive and survive in the presence of contaminants, are among thousands of precision electromechanical components in the Ultimate Nordex Design Guide 2004.

Design features include heavy-walled aluminum body for size stability under shock loads and severe loading conditions; vibration-absorbing Frelon liner (a type of Teflon), concentric with ground OD within 0.001 T.I.R.; maintenance-free, self-lubricating, and made to carry greater loads (often 8 to 10 times greater) than antifriction bearings; suitable in oils or water soluble cutting fluids (will not rust); and a temperature range from 400 to 500°F.
