Tschudin & Heid linear guides comprise shafts and sleeves with matched roller cages

Tschudin & Heid linear guides comprise shafts and sleeves with matched roller cages. The design lets moving parts displace axially without radial movement. Rollers provide in-line contact instead of point contact with the guide, so assemblies can be preloaded to a low surface pressure between rollers and guides. The bearings are rigid, accurate, and tolerate heavy loads. Plastic and metal cages are available. An optional low-maintenance unit requires only a thin lubricating film.
