Ceramabond 668 bonds ceramics and metals at temperatures to 2,500°F.

Ceramabond 668 bonds ceramics and metals at temperatures to 2,500°F. The single-part, alumina-filled compound has a torque strength of 10.6 lb-ft and dielectric strength of 245 V/mil at room temperature. The product is suited for ceramics as well as nonceramic substrates such as steel and stainless steel. It applies with a brush, syringe, or pneumatic dispenser, dries rapidly at room temperature and cures in 2 to 4 hr at 200°F. It resists most acids, solvents, and fuels, and uncured material cleans up with soap and water. Other applications include encapsulating small electrical components such as resistors, igniters, temperature probes, and halogen lamps.
