High-Performance Laminates

March 17, 2005
RO3035 is a family of high-frequency laminate materials with reportedly the lowest (DK 3.5) loss.

This laminate is ideal for power-amplifier designs, not only because of the low loss, but also because of its high thermal conductivity and availability with thick metal backing. These features make it a good choice for designs with critical power and thermal requirements. A second microwave laminate, RT/duroid 6202, provides better dimensional stability than traditional microwave laminates. It also sports superior electrical properties and highly predictable performance in applications where frequencies range from 3 to over 90 GHz.
