Tritex Corp., the parent organization of the Haydon companies, was acquired by Harbour Group, St. Louis, Mo., on April 24. Haydon, Waterbury, Conn., is a designer and manufacturer of fractional horsepower linear actuators, lead screw assemblies, rotary stepper motors, and hermetically sealed switches, founded in 1951. Harbour Group and its operating units manufacture and distribute a wide range of consumer and industrial products, including lubricating systems and equipment, abrasives, diamond cutting products and tools, and equipment used in plastic processing and heat exchange.
