Graphite Compounds

July 13, 2006
Two epoxy-based graphite compounds, Grades RX and PX, can be used as electrically or thermally conductive adhesives in heat sinks or to fill holes and pits in metals before electroplating.

The two grades can be cast into intricate shapes or placed in grooves and sleeves. They can be machined, threaded, drilled, sawed, or buffed to a high finish. The compounds can also serve as dry lubricants at temperatures to 350°F.
