Select-a-Seal (SAS) Generation II gaskets feature nonrigid composite bases (or carriers) and rubber (polymer) sealing edges.

Select-a-Seal (SAS) Generation II gaskets feature nonrigid composite bases (or carriers) and rubber (polymer) sealing edges. The high-density carrier gives the gaskets long-term, stable bolt-load retention in a wide range of joints and at temperatures up to 175°C. The gaskets are lightweight, corrosion-proof, and durable. They combine both compression and adhesion and can replace alternative seals including RTV silicone, molded-rubber (press-in-place seals), and rubber-coated metal gaskets.
