Field-Programmable Hall-Effect Sensors

April 1, 2005
The A1373 and A1374 outputpin programmable linear Halleffect sensors come in a modified four-lead SIP package.

A chopper stabilization-technique in the Hall element gives these one-time field-programmable sensors low initial offset and minimal drift over temperature. Users set the gain, quiescent voltage output, and temperature coefficient after finished sensor assembly. Postassembly programming minimizes the effects of manufacturing-induced stresses and offsets. The devices target industrial and automotive users. The A1374 has a slightly higher bandwidth than the A1373, resulting in slightly higher noise on the output.
