FEA Works In Solidworks

Feb. 9, 2006
NEiWorks Version 1.11, a Nastran finiteelement-analysis tool, works inside of SolidWorks 3D CAD software.

NEiWorks has the familiar SolidWorks look and feel for all menus and functions. It updates meshes after geometry changes are made. Other simulation capabilities include linear steady-state heat transfer, material orientation for composites, nonlinear elastic and plastic-material models with support for custom stressstrain data, and loading options such as moment, enforced displacement, and heat flux. Custom coordinate systems are available for defining constraints and different loads.
