Algor V20 FEA software works well with CAD, making building analysis models simpler and more efficient.

FEA sports new k-epsilon turbulence model

V20 includes design scenarios, improved meshing, a wizard for generating bolts and fasteners, as well as design studies and size optimizations. A new k-epsilon turbulence model for flow analysis provides more accurate results and allows specification of wall roughness. Also, a rebar concrete model allows easier and more-realistic simulation of concrete structures. Other highlights: Support for multiple rotating frames of reference for 3D modeling of complex fans and similar systems, buoyancy effects for transient analyses, and total pressure boundaries for 3D.
