Fast Simulations

Nov. 3, 2005
Virtual.Lab Motion Rev 5 features a new Auto-Recursive Solver that reduces the time it takes to solve complex simulation models by up to 60%.

This eliminates calculation bottlenecks in simulating dynamic behavior in timing chains, belts, tracked vehicles, and complex production machines. Users can accurately simulate internal forces and accelerations of these mechanisms, which are typically too difficult to measure using prototypes. Additionally, Virtual.Lab Motion Rev 5 combines the deployment of the Auto-Recursive Solver with a new Sub Mechanisms capability. This allows users to use a building-block approach when repeated elements with similar geometry are involved. Calculations will be faster and less memory will be needed.
