MicroE Systems introduced the Mercury II family of motion feedback encoders.

MicroE Systems introduced the Mercury II family of motion feedback encoders. The 8.7-mm long encoders have sensors that work with metal tape and glass-linear and glass-rotary scales. Four models are available with resolutions ranging from 5Μm to 1.2 nm, linear of 20k CPR to 268-M CPR rotary. They feature stick-on, bi-directional optical index and limit markers. Operating speed at 50 nm resolution is 2 m/sec.
