Compact Switches For Ethernet

Sept. 15, 2005
Managed Compact Switches feature sixteen 10/100 transmit ports with a multimode fiber option that meets distributed connection requirements.

They are 71-mm deep, so they mount in enclosures 25 to 35% smaller than alternative switches with similar performance. The MCS combines a complete range of message filtering, VLAN, redundancy, and security functions that meet the needs of distributed real-time applications and control protocols such as ProfiNet, Ethernet/IP, and Modbus TCP.
