Bandpass Optical Filters

Sept. 15, 2005
Laser-line bandpass filters, fabricated from a "hard" ion-beam sputter technology, give >90% transmission at the design laser wavelength and block >5.0 OD at just ±2% of the laser wavelength.

Laser-line bandpass filters, fabricated from a "hard" ion-beam sputter technology, give >90% transmission at the design laser wavelength and block >5.0 OD at just ±2% of the laser wavelength. The filters are designed for maximum transmission of stimulated emission while eliminating noisy spontaneous emission. Applications include laserbased fluorescence instrumentation, Raman spectroscopy, and analytical and medical laser systems.
