An acrylic coelastomer called DuPont ACE can replace ECO, CPE, EVA (high-VA content), and ACM elastomers in applications needing midrange (–40 to 140°C) temperature resistance.

An acrylic coelastomer called DuPont ACE can replace ECO, CPE, EVA (high-VA content), and ACM elastomers in applications needing midrange (40 to 140°C) temperature resistance. It resists fluids especially when aging at elevated temperatures. That makes it ideal for use in transmission oil coolers and cold-side turbocharger hoses. It is halogen-free and requires no heavy-metal stabilizers in the rubber compound. It can be mixed on conventional processing equipment and is usually cross-linked using standard diamine curatives. It is peroxide curable and can be used in polyesterreinforced hoses.
