Summary

Initially, Additive Manufacturing (AM) was used to reproduce parts originally designed for traditional manufacturing processes. However, without the limitations of traditional manufacturing processes, products could be designed for additive manufacturing (Dfam), with innovative shapes that couldn’t be previously manufactured with casting and machining. Today, these technologies are embedded in the conventional manufacturing process.

In this session you’ll hear from PTC’s Jose Coronado and Advanced Engineering Solutions’ Dr. Andreas Vlahino as they demonstrate how
to leverage Creo’s additive manufacturing tools for efficient and innovative manufacturing solutions.

Some high level topics they’ll dive into include:

  • Creo Additive Manufacturing Capabilities
  • Evolution of Simulation-Driven Lattice Modelling
  • Additive Manufacturing Use Cases
  • Advancements in Simulation Driven Design (SDD) for AM
  • Showcase Lattice Modelling Capabilities

Tune in to hear how Creo helps engineers like you create great designs with additive manufacturing.
