Planetary gearheads
Faulhaber planetary gearheads handle applications that demand high torque. The new 17/1 Series gearheads are the latest addition to the line in the 16 to 20-mm-diameter range. The gearheads come with up to five gear speeds, with standard reductions of 3.33:1 to 1,367:1.

Features include a 17-mm diameter, stainless-steel housing, and steel and hard metal planetary gearheads and pins. The gearheads are designed for continuous torque of 550 mNm and short-term loads of up to 800 mNm. Sintered bearings ensure axial-shaft clearances under 0.1 mm. Operating temperature range is between 100 and –30°C by default.
