Servodrive system

March 24, 2014
Servodrive system
The AKD-N decentralized servodrive system’s IP67-rated drives sit next to the motor and are supplied by a central power module located in the switchgear cabinet. An-11 mm-diameter hybrid cable delivers power and fieldbus communication to the AKD-N servodrives. This design allows the drives to operate directly in series, supplying up to 4 kW/axis. A Safe Torque Off feature is integrated into the system and can be deactivated on an individual or collective basis. The drives are quickly and easily installed by making three screw lock connections.
