Sept. 1, 2011
The Idea line of programmable linear actuators now features a RoHS-compliant electronic drive and fully programmable control unit integrated with a linear actuator.

The Idea line of programmable linear actuators now features a RoHS-compliant electronic drive and fully programmable control unit integrated with a linear actuator.

Features & benefits

  • Small footprint

  • RS-485 protocol allows long data transmissions with immunity to electrical noise; uses differential signal lines for limiting common-mode noise

  • Twisted-pair cabling for cancelling induced noise current; allows communication over 1,000-ft network without termination resistors — to up to 256 addressable device nodes

  • Industrial controller sends commands to all drives at once or control each drive separately

  • Programmable current control, single 12 to 48 Vdc supply voltage; inputs rated for 5 to 24 Vdc
