A new version of the 36-mm G4 linear actuator includes a special adapter plate to allow this smaller OD unit to replace existing Size 17 hybrid stepper motor linear actuators. The unit, with a Size 17 adapter plate, easily replaces existing hybrid units by using the same bolt pattern and pilot surface.

Force output is from 16 to 58 lb. Output resolution ranges from 0.013 to 0.102 mm/step command.

The G4 uses optimized teeth geometry, along with high-energy neodymium magnets, for more continuous force. With 20% higher output force across the entire speed range, the G4 also contains the latest custom- engineered plastics and larger bearings for greater rotor support and higher axial load capability.
