AquaMaKKs LI-SSI Series brakes are specially modified to withstand sea spray and direct seawater splash. The brakes provide accurate torque control for constant tensioning in heavy-duty continuous-slip tension applications.

Instead of the water jackets found on basic AquaMaKKs brake housings, the LI-SSI Series have special alloy stainless-steel torque (center) plates installed, along with an engineered friction material designed to run against the stainless-steel torque plate. The brakes also feature three-part epoxy marine-grade paint and stainless-steel hardware for added corrosion protection.
