Cat 5e flat silicone cables are rugged, flame retardant, contaminant-free, and perform well in temperatures from –65 to 260°C. The halogen-free cables feature a highly flexible, one-piece silicone encapsulation that won’t delaminate or degrade due to extreme vibration or exposure to steam, water, chemicals, mechanical abuse, ozone, and radiation up to 107 Roentgens.

An extrusion process lets four individually shielded 30-awg pairs to be placed in a flat cable, precisely controlling spacing of the pairs, insulation thickness, and overall cable shape.
