Kit Encoders for Robotics

AMM from Lika Electronic is the extensive range of optical absolute encoders designed in a kit module for direct integration into robotic systems. They excel in small size, low profile, minimum weight, high resolution and fine accuracy. They are designed to fit common motor sizes and shafts with diameters ranging between 12 and 50 mm (0.472 in. ÷ 1.968 in.). Their size can be shaped to fit virtually any package. The range of the operating temperature is −40°C to +100°C (−40°F to 212°F). AMM kit encoders are available in both single-turn and multiturn versions and provide position feedback via SSI, BiSS and RS-485 interfaces. AMM encoder range includes AMM8, AMM80, AMM5 and AMM36 models. They can be developed and customized to meet the needs of specific and unique installations.

Vibration Isolation Mounts

Ruland Manufacturing now supplies a wide selection of vibration isolation mounts and rubber bumpers for use in packaging, conveyors, food processing and other industrial equipment. These rubber components are mounted in a variety of ways to extend machine life and reduce noise which allows for a safer work environment. Vibration isolation mounts and rubber bumpers are cylindrical and have a metallic core encased in a rubber jacket with threaded components that allow them to be connected to many different types of equipment or flat surfaces. Vibration isolation mounts have a threaded stud or tapped hole on both flat ends to connect two parts of a machine together. The zinc-plated steel cores have higher strength and are ideal for general-purpose use.

Conveyor Controller

To enhance control and cabling efficiency for motor-driven roller (MDR) conveyor systems, Beckhoff Automation has released the new EP7402 EtherCAT Box. This compact controller is a two-channel motor output stage for BLDC motors used in MDRs, regardless of the conveyor or roller motor vendor. The EP7402 offers optimal conveyor control through zero-pressure accumulation logic in its firmware, programming in the TwinCAT 3 engineering environment and high-performance EtherCAT industrial Ethernet communication. Designed for use in intralogistics, packaging, food and beverage, assembly and many other industries, the EP7402 is IP67 rated and compliant with new electrical standards being enforced in 2020, and does not require a protective enclosure.
