Maker Faire Comes to NYC

Once a year, Makers descend on the New York Hall of Science for this epic show-and-tell.

Claiming to be the world’s greatest show –and-tell, Maker Faire shows off science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) at the New York Hall of Science (nysci) in Queens, N.Y. In the last 10 years, Maker Faire has become an international sensation. Passionate people gather together to tinker, educate, and play while science and art combine into an event where you just don’t know what you might run into. Machine Design was there to talk to some of the founders, and Makers that attend this high-energy, high-STEAM event.
