Illinois drives factory gets UL & TUV approval

Minarik Drives, (www.minarikcorp.com), recently opened a new 35,000-sq-ft manufacturing facility in South Beloit, Ill. The building, which is climate and humidity controlled, received unconditional lab and factory approval by UL and factory approval by TUV. Minarik Drives, a div. of Minarik Corp., has been manufacturing 2 hp and below variable-speed drives since 1954.

The company's product line includes dc-to-dc, SCR, PWM, Regen, and brushless drives, as well as ac drives. They are typically used in medical, recreational, defense, packaging, printing, and industrial markets.
