ServoMax EZ2 Series line shafts are made with backlash-free, vibration-damping elastomer inserts and high-strength precision aluminum tubes with high torsional rigidity. The couplings cover distances from 4 in. to 13 ft without a center support and transmit torque from 88.5 to 4,000 lb-in. The coupling ends have an elastomer element press-fit between two sets of precision-machined jaws for zero backlash and concentricity. The inserts come in three different Shore values, and they electrically insulate the two coupling halves. The tubes can also be completely supported by the coupling ends, eliminating the need for an intermediate support bearing.
