But on April 28, for National Superhero Day, we join Guinness World Records in acknowledging amazing recordholders for their contribution to emergency relief efforts and salute everyday heroes for the incredible work they do in support of their communities.
Marvel Comics employees created National Superhero Day on April 28, 1995 to celebrate everyone’s favorite superhero. Following are just a sampling of title-holders and the work they’ve done to help the cause.
Most couples kissing under the mistletoe (single + multiple venues)
- Converted its Baldwinsville, N.Y. and Los Angeles flagship breweries to make hand sanitizer.
- Donated $5 million to the Red Cross and partnered with them to facilitate blood drives.
