Their function is made possible by electro pneumatics with behind the scenes help using a Midi controller for music. This is the bands first time in New York and previously played at Austrailia's Big Day Out concert event this past January. Compressorhead has been pre-programmed to play a wide range of rock songs, with their motor functions on stage controlled by the backstage crew.
