Regal Rexnord Curve System with 1540 Series MatTop Chain Provides Flexibility for Case Handling

June 21, 2023
The Rexnord Curve System with 1540 Series MatTop Chain allows small and large case packs to keep orientation while moving down the conveyor.

Regal Rexnord Corp.’s Curve System with 1540 Series MatTop Chain meets the needs of conveyor lines requiring a zero tangent 180-deg. or 90-deg. curve. The system features a tight inner radius (420 mm) and tight transfer (15 mm), helping to save on space.

Key features of the Rexnord Curve System with 1540 MatTop Chain include:

  • simplified design
  • easy integration
  • head-to-tail transfer
  • standardized case handling.

Designed for Ease of Use and Maintenance

The Rexnord Curve System requires minimum bearings, which keeps the chain on track and eases maintenance and chain replacement. Consistent noseover means it can be operated without transfer plates or rollers, which also makes maintenance easier.

As a drop-in system, it allows for one-person installation and readily integrates into existing conveyor systems. Its beveled curve design allows for a flat conveying surface as well as easy chain removal.

The Rexnord Curve System with 1540 Series MatTop Chain uses several 84 mm tracks of 15 mm pitch plastic belting, which provide head-to-tail transfer of small and light cases as the modular belts offer consistent angular speeds that allow packaged or single products to move through the curve without rotating.
