LARGE COPPER-ALLOY PLATES

Large plate MoldMAX is geared towards the large-section plastics market, such as automotive, appliance, consumer, and containers. It allows plastic-part manufacturers to reduce cycle time and scrap rates in all full-core and cavity applications. With the large plates, molds can be made from a single block of metal as opposed to a group of sub inserts. This reportedly provides better integrity for the mold build, reducing maintenance and simplifying design. Plates sizes include: 10 3 40 3 39 in. (at 4,700 lb), 20 3 24 3 36 in. (at 3,600 lb), 6 3 36 3 96 (at 6,117 lb), 15 3 36 3 50 in. (at 7,900 lb), and 30 3 30 3 30 in. (at 8,000).
